W/B HIDTA Gives Thanks to Its Community Partners, Leadership, and Staff
Our message to the community starts a month of gratitude
Last month, we shined a spotlight on drug use prevention initiatives on our blog and shared prevention tips and resources on our Facebook and Twitter pages as part of National Substance Abuse Prevention Month.
This month is National Gratitude Month, and the Washington/Baltimore HIDTA (W/B HIDTA) is excited to honor its community, organization, and agency partnerships; executive board leadership, and everyone else who helps us achieve our goal of saving lives and strengthening communities.
At the W/B HIDTA, everything we do is in service to our community. Our mission is to reduce drug trafficking and misuse by strategically applying resources to initiatives designed to save lives, prevent initiation of drug use, and apprehend drug traffickers and money launderers. Each initiative, from law enforcement, to training, to the Investigative Support Center, and A Division for Advancing Prevention and Treatment (ADAPT), is designed to serve communities in the D.C./Maryland/Virginia/West Virginia region.
Thank you to the elected officials and community members who support us, media partners who help to get the word out about our good work, and the organizations and agencies who work with us. In November, we’ll highlight the work of many amazing organizations and individuals on our blog and social media. Stay tuned!
